Blackpool vs Tottenham Hotspur Match Preview

After their UEFA Champions League heroics, Tottenham Hotspur will return to domestic action when they travel to face Blackpool on Tuesday.

Tottenham will be looking to win games like this one to ensure a top four finish and continued Champions League football next season. Tottenham are currently in fourth place, two points above Chelsea and will be looking for their fifth straight win at Blackpool.

Copenhagen winger Jesper Gronkjaer will play against his former club, and is well aware of how difficult a task faces the Danish league leaders. “Chelsea were probably the team we did not want to play against because they play very physically. Obviously their squad is full of fantastic players and they play slightly the same way we do,” Gronkjaer told the official UEFA website.

Copenhagen top the Danish league but due to a winter break will be playing their first game in two months. The Dane’s will be playing their first game in the Champions League knockout stages, and will be heartened by the fact that they achieved a 1-1 home draw against FC Barcelona during the group stages.
